Iraq Casualties Update (through 28 July)

Here is the chart of fatalities caused by hostile action, by week. The rate has been holding steady at about 14 per week since April 2004. There have been short-term increases due to specific operations, those are marked. There also was a period of reduced fatalities during the spring of 2005.
